Two years ago, Costigan Integrated announced a formal strategic partnership with Unico Properties that enabled our companies to take advantage of growing development opportunities in the Pacific Northwest and other markets. From day one, we set out to “supercharge” Unico’s capabilities and actively grow its development platform. Unico’s approach to teamwork, collaboration, and sustainability aligns with ours and the partnership was a natural progression from our past work together.
Since then, Costigan Integrated and Unico have delivered and announced a number of highly exciting projects across the country. In 2018, we completed the award-winning 96,000-square-foot Circa Building in Denver’s reborn Platte Street. In 2019, we broke ground on our 165,000-square-foot Bouldin Creek project in Austin and the 211,000-square-foot Cascadian in Seattle’s thriving South Lake Union. Other projects we have underway include the 17-acre Montgomery Park master-planned mixed-use development in Portland, Ore., the phased repositioning of the One Nashville skyscraper in Nashville, Tenn., and the 150,000-square-foot 1430 Wynkoop historic redevelopment project in Denver.
For two years, we existed as a separate brand working alongside and integrating with Unico’s full-service platform.
Today, we have a big announcement to make: we’re excited to announce that going forward, Costigan Integrated will be known simply as Unico Properties as a fully integrated part of the Unico family.
“This change reflects the deep integration of Costigan Integrated’s development expertise and capabilities into Unico’s full-service platform which includes investments, asset management, property management, sustainability, solar, and of course, development,” said Chris Angus, Unico Vice President of Design and Construction.
We’d like to extend special thanks to all of our clients and partners who have supported us in the past 10 years!
