Ken’s training as an architect—plus 25 years of project management experience for two commercial real estate development companies—provides a valuable Owner’s perspective to the team. Ken has managed many office and retail tenant improvement projects in commercial buildings; he understands how to manage complicated projects while minimizing impacts on operations and improving the experience for the occupants.
During Ken’s 15-year tenure at Pine Street Group and 9 years at Urban Retail Properties in Chicago, he managed approximately $40 million of building renovations, coordinated an extensive number of retail and office tenant improvements, and worked on more than $475 million of new ground-up construction. Ken lives in Seattle with his wife plus a labradoodle named Wilson and cats named Bing and Edson.
