Hope Place, a women and children’s shelter, is located in South Seattle in the NewHolly neighborhood. The 82,000 square foot facility includes 99 guest rooms that can accommodate up to 208 women and children and provides temporary housing, classroom, and counseling space. It is one of the few facilities in Seattle that accepts women with male children up to age 18. This five-story building includes a cafeteria, private residential units, a child care area, office space, and an outdoor playground.
The project was completed while Jackie Costigan was at Turner Construction, under Jackie’s leadership.
