Pike Street Corner Project

This five story mixed-use building was one of the first new projects in the now thriving Pike/Pine neighborhood. The unique layouts of the thirteen condominiums and the three commercial spaces, along with the corrugated zincalum exterior accented with red, green and yellow finishes are some of the individual touches that make this building lasting and unique. Winner: AIA Housing the Northwest Citation 1999. The project consisted of 4 stories of multi-family residential units on top of a 105 -year old single story building, the existing brick facade dating from 1907 was retained. Other project details include the selective demolition and renovation of a single story commercial building with parking. The new building includes a ground floor commercial area of 4,604 sq. ft. and four stories of residential space consisting of thirteen units (two story condominium lofts) totaling 17,170 sq. ft. Parking provides 19 stalls and is adjacent to the building.

The project was completed while Jackie Costigan was at Turner Construction, under Jackie’s leadership.
